Children in Form IV have been studying Greek myths and legends:
“We’ve found out that lots of different countries
have these traditional stories from long ago.”
“I like them because they are about brave heroes and heroines
who fight against villains and monsters!”
“I’m looking forward to writing my own story about
gods and goddesses who lived on Mount Olympus.”
They have also been studying the Trojan War in Latin, helping to bring to life these epic tales and exciting adventures.
Emmeline was absolutely brilliant on the day, winning ALL of her events, and breaking the record in both relays!!
The day was an exciting experience for everyone, with excellent running by all. The courses the children had to follow took them through streams and some very muddy terrain.
In each race there were between 150-200 runners.
Ou inter house air rifle competition got underway this afternoon.
Last term there were several fixtures across the age groups. The children have worked extremely hard in hockey and have been developing their ability to work as a team. This has proved extremely successful and have won most of their matches.
